"Coeur de Noir/Sir William De Noir"
Played by Tim Curry

Most famously known for his fabulously resonant voice and his starring role in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Tim Curry delivers a suitably nasty and scary Coeur de Noir.  Overcome with grief and guilt, he has been fighting with the Merryweathers for so long he has forgotten what the battle is about.  It takes Maria to bring together all the adults and show them just what is really at stake.

"Robin"
Played by Augustus Prew

Undergoing the biggest transformation from book to screen, Augustus Prew's Robin is most likely to set young female hearts alight with his troubled interpretation of the role.  He gives us a much darker, more interesting character who Maria has to convince to change his loyalties to aid her on her quest.   Augustus's past credits include About a Boy and the TV series The Time of your Life.

"Digweed"
Played by Michael Webber

Digweed is the trusted coachman and Sir Benjamin's valet - and the first person from Moonacre that Maria meets.  He doesn't say much, but has a heart of gold.  Michael Webber infuses those few words with such hilarity that you will just love Digweed.  Michael's credits include Alex Rider - Operation Stormbreaker and Tooth.

"Sir Benjamin/Sir Wrolf Merryweather"
Played by Ioan Gruffudd

Talented Ioan joined the cast to take on the dual roles of Sir Benjamin and his ancestor Sir Wrolf Merryweather.   Ioan is best known for his roles as Mr Fantastic in The Fantastic Four, Lancelot in King Arthur and as young sailor and adventurer Horatio Hornblower in Hornblower on the small screen.  Ioan's Sir Benjamin is gruff and taciturn - all a cover for a heartbroken man who has lost hope.

"Marmaduke Scarlet"
Played by Andy Linden

Marmaduke is a fabulous character who is the keeper of secret knowledge at Moonacre.  Magic surrounds him though sometimes he is not quite able to control it.  Andy Linden brings a wonderfully gruff and comedic performance to the film often stealing the scenes he is in.  Andy has a long list of credits including Oliver Twist, Rome and From Hell
